We first had a room on the 14th floor which was extremely hot and had to change room to the third floor. |

The Mercure Hevelius Gdansk is a fairly good hotel in a good location to Old Town, comfortable beds and tasty food. However, their service is not as good as the Hotel Krolewski. I had called 2 weeks prior to arrange for a taxi to pick me up at the airport and none showed up. At check-in, I was informed of the breakfast hours, but was not informed of the price--8 Euros, which I found out about at check-out. Thankfully, the food was pretty good. The only good service I received, was when I called for a fan for the stuffy, non air conditioned room--it came in a matter of minutes. If I was to stay in Gdansk again, I would definitely beg to stay at the Hotel Krolewski--they were booked for the dates I needed, unfortunately. |
