Amber, “the gold of the Baltic”, is up to the brim and overflowing all over Tricity, in all forms and shapes. There are display cases of amber on Mariacka Street in Gdansk.

Folk art shops in Poland are called “Cepelia”. One of those is located at Dluga 47 in Gdansk. Pop in, if you are looking for traditional rustic crafts and souvenirs.
Food Markets
If you would like to experience the local colour, visit one of the food markets. They feature stalls offering fresh produce as well as clothes and other goods. One of them called “Hala Targowa” is located in Gdynia, near the train station, at Jana z Kolna Street, another is situated in Gdansk on Panska Street (15 min. walk from the Main Railway Station - Gdansk Glowny).
