The Port of Gdansk, located at the Gulf of Gdansk, is one of the largest seaports on the Baltic Sea. Located at the mouth of the river, the Port of Gdansk, as well as the adjacent area is ice-free and tide-free all year round. Despite the sever winter weather the navigation conditions are favourable, which contributes to the Port of Gdansk being one of the most approachable port in the Baltic Sea Region. It is divided into the Inner Port, situated along the Vistula estuary, and the Northern Port with a direct access to the gulf of Gdansk. The Northern Port can accommodate the largest vessels navigating the Baltic Sea. The Port offers regular connections to 16 countries, as follows: Argentina, Belgium, Colombia, Finland, Germany, Great Britain, Holland, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Russia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Trinidad and Tobago, Venezuela.
