With almost 33,000 students in the nine faculties and 1,700 academic staff members the University of Gdansk is the largest institute of higher education in the Pomeranian region. The University’s foreign co-operation is developing also within the Socrates/Erasmus Programme on the basis of over one hundred bilateral agreements signed by the University of Gdansk with European institutions.
