Each city and town in the Eastern Pomerania has different ticket designs and fares. Even in the Tri-City the ticket samples and prices are not the same.
In Gdansk the fare depends on the journey duration. There are three rates: for distances up to 10 minutes, up to 30 minutes and up to 60 minutes. Their designs also differ in colour depending on the duration of the journey.
In Gdynia and Sopot the single-journey tickets have one standard price. Moreover, they can be used both on buses and trolley buses. NOTE: On boarding a tram, bus and trolley bus, remember to validate your ticket in the ticket validator. Otherwise, you might be fined. While using the SKM train, the ticket needs to be validated PRIOR to boarding by inserting the ticket into the yellow rectangular validators at the SKM platforms.
