The festival
Sounds of the North is an international annual event presenting traditional music culture of the countries of the North. The festival has featured artists from Sweden, Germany, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Greenland, Ireland, Russia and Poland. This year's edition focuses on the folklore of the regions e.g. Lapland and Karelia. The festival will feature folk dances and music concert as well as workshops.
