The Crooked House (in Polish 'Krzywy Domek') is a fairy-like building located in Sopot, at the town's main pedestraian street - ul. Bohaterow Monte Cassino. This fabulous house was inspired by the cartoon drawings of Per Dahlberg and Jan Marcin Szancer as well as Antonio Gaudi. Built in 2003, it now houses a shopping centre. In the „Village of Joy” ranking in 2008, in the category „the strangest, most unusual, weird and crazy building of the world”, the Crooked House won the first place.
